This disc uses the Bagua trigram and PaKua mirrors 
from ancient China, used in Taoism and Yin and Yang.

Called ‘Succession of the Former Heaven’ 
The Former Heaven is outside of time and space. 
The trigrams symbolise the opposing forces of Yin and Yang and represent an ideal state based solely on the balance between Heaven and the Universe.
 
Location:
PaKua mirrors have a mirror in place of Yin and Yang.
 
They are placed outside a building to protect it from external attacks.
 
You can place the disc inside, opposite the front door of the flat, house or premises.

Order of King Wen (文王)
Called ‘Succession of the Later Heaven’
The arrangement of trigrams on King Wen's BaGua describes environmental changes and depicts a constantly evolving universe. 
Fire tends upwards, water tends downwards. 
 
Location:
The BaGua symbol is used in Feng Shui to harmonise the environmental energy of a place.
 
You can place the disc inside, opposite the front door of the flat, house or other premises.

The Posterior Heaven is a more dynamic state, and it comes into play after the birth of life.
